Wondering where to stay in Canlaon City, the gateway to climbing Mt. Kanlaon?
Canlaon City is a small place that’s often mistaken as a municipality. Yes, we have a few accommodation options in Canlaon but you cannot see them listed in Agoda, Hotels.com, Trivago, and the likes. So to help out tourists and business travellers, I’ve compiled a list of the guesthouses and inns that you can book when you visit Canlaon.

F&C Guest House

WiFi is available. Free breakfast privilege is for aircon rooms only. However, you can dine in the guesthouse’s own resto bar found at the ground floor.
If you’re travelling from Bacolod City, alight at the Caltex Gasoline Station. F&C Guest House is a mere 3- to 5-minute walk from that spot. You can ask for directions from the friendly locals since the facade is usually covered by the mini forest near the area.
If you’re coming from Dumaguete City or San Carlos City, get off the Canlaon City Ceres Terminal and ride a habal-habal to F&C Guest House. Fare is Php10.00 only.
Canlaon City Pension House
This is a government-owned facility with 19 rooms. Only 3 rooms come with AC but Canlaon City is naturally cool all year round so it’s really not a big deal sleeping in a non-AC room.

Breakfast is not available and there is no restaurant inside the premises.
Whether you’re travelling from Bacolod City, San Carlos City, or Dumaguete City, you need to alight at the Ceres Terminal and then ride a habal-habal. Fare is Php7 – Php10.

Prices are inclusive of VAT and complimentary breakfast. There is a refreshment facility and bakery at the ground floor so you can grab a bite without leaving the inn.
If you’re travelling from Bacolod City, you can tell the driver to drop you off in front of Mountain Citi Tourist Inn since it is just along the highway. If you’re coming from San Carlos City or Dumaguete City, get off the Ceres Terminal and ride the habal-habal. The inn is just 2 – 3 minutes away from the terminal. Fare is Php5 – Php10.

If you’re travelling from Bacolod City, get off the Ceres Terminal and ride a habal-habal to reach the inn. Fare is Php10.
If you’re travelling from San Carlos City or Dumaguete City, ask to be dropped off in front of RHR Tourist Inn since it’s located along the highway.
